Signalis is a game that comes to life thanks to the rose engine. It is a straightforward, classical inspired, and pure, honest horror gaming experience without repetitive filler content. It offers a unique sci-fi aesthetic and emotional driven story telling experience packaged in Japanese, German, sexy but still fitting art style.

Gameplay
Signalis is a simple game that it is a reminiscence of classic survival games like quiet hill or resident evil. It's a top down view, pixel survival shooter, art and limited melee capabilities and an inventory of just six items to navigate the world.
It's a science fiction only single player narrative experience with a storyline that drives the drama to life with a variety of weak melee weapons forcing the combat fight to take place at weapons length , such as shotguns and pistols.
It is all interconnected rooms that you explore for keys or other items that help solve the challenges by combining objects in secure rooms that allow you to have the tools you require for survival.
You will encounter enemies who are pushed when you aren't armed with the shotguns or pistols that you find throughout the game world when you try to comprehend why and how you're doing the things you do in this enigmatic planet.
The game begins easy and simple, but you will find out that the difficulty increases dramatically in the course of the game, epically, towards the end and with enemies that come back to life and pop out of vents and floors, plus simple, easy, yet thrilling boss fights in a claustrophobic environment.
I would say that it is not the games fault per say however, if you advance in the game significantly for 2 or 3 hours in and then you take a break for a couple of days, coming back isn't easy because the game does not provide you with the information you're supposed to do next . Also, due to the map being difficult to comprehend, new players might be thrown off initially however, if you follow the guides and stretch your brain muscles trust me when I say that the effort is worth it.
The version of the enemy is a little limited to my liking However, it was developed by 2 people so I forgive that easily cause what is there is for the most part basic, classic, and effective use of survival horror enemy game design.
Story
The game's story takes place in a futuristic future that is and is presented in a way that makes you consider the story's ending and the meaning and significance of the story, not just complete the game, and be informed about the meaning of the story. The game is designed to make you think about it.

I personally found the storytelling mechanics of female workers and male and female representation through the machines in a supposedly communist style work environment interesting.
I'm not going into details in order to keep from spoilers So let me simply note that this isn't an easy story to digest and leaves you to discern according to my view the meaning behind things as it isn't based on logic and reality, per say.
Graphics/Performance
For graphics and performance of Signalis the game, I will not be conducting a thorough review because it is a good game and it looks good due to its unique style of art. It is incredibly fast and smooth on every device that you can play it on. I truly hope it is brought to mobile devices such as iPhone and Android in the near future.
I do recommend playing the game on an OLED Tv or Monitor because it's stunning.

As it was created by two people, I believe the sound design is quite simple but extremely effective in creating a claustrophobic adrenaline rush and a calmness that makes the entire experience an adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster of terror.
Achievements/Fan Service
On the achievements side, the game is actually easy to get all the achievements and according to trueachievements.com, writeablog.net you can get them all with an 8 to 10 hours. You could even complete it faster if you are looking to speed-run it.
On the side of fan service to things the anime Japanese depicted characters are cute, gorgeous, big eyes, and the feminine figure is represented through the art style itself and it is aesthetically pleasing and satisfying. Thus, I give it a thumbs up man of the culture. If you think it's not enough, I'm going to advise you to touch some grass right now. Pause the video and go.

In conclusion, I would declare that this is one of those survival horror titles that go down in history as a simple yet extremely high-quality Indie developer. A success story game in which I would recommend to anyone who loves survival horror. Specially, classical style residents, evil, and Silent Hill titles needs to take a look and try it out.
I don't replay most of my single-player games fully thru so I won't working towards the additional endings, but I'm grateful and proud to have had the chance to play this unique journey into madness from the publisher of the rose engine.
